Dr Murdoch is NOT a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors. Members of this organisation are mostly doctors who were formerly general practitioners and lack formal specialist training and are therefore not eligible for membership of specialist organisations such as British Association of Dermatologists and American Academy of Dermatologists. Articles written by some members of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors will often suggest that prospective cosmetic patients seek out members of this organisation. The vast majority of doctors who are on the General Medical Council specialist register and who practise cosmetic dermatology or surgery are not members of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors.
